“Fife Pierce County Library was the place to be on Saturday, Dec. 3. A total of 780 people crowded and clamored to get in and check out the first library in the City of Fife at the grand opening. Many community leaders were on hand to cut the ribbon and welcome people to their library. The statistics from opening day speak volumes: 780 people visited. People checked out 1,566 books, movies and other items. 143 people got library cards.”
