The Atrium Kitchen, located in the Economy Market Atrium, is a new commercial kitchen designed specifically for educational events, private dining, and catering for larger events. Additionally, the facility provides a venue for Market farmers, restaurants, and food merchants to demonstrate their local products and prepare samples.
Full-width glass doors open the kitchen to the atrium space, celebrating its location and identity as a food destination. A long stainless steel prep counter with two commercial ranges is flanked by seating for cooking class participants.
Atrium Kitchen programs and events will introduce people to the joys of cooking and sharing meals together, activating the atrium during winter months and on weekdays.
Information about events, food demonstrations, and cooking class schedules are posted on a full-height chalkboard wall. Counter seating and a strategically located window provides an opportunity to pause and check out the kitchen.
The Atrium Kitchen expands the relationship with existing Market customers and cultivates new ones by allowing shoppers to complete the farm-to-table cycle in one of the city’s most iconic locations.
