David focuses on public places and resource conservation. He is fascinated by the relationships in architecture between the imagined, the concrete and the contingent. David has applied his insight to the designs of the Ferndale Library, Magnolia Library, UW Facilities Services Training Center, the UW Suzzallo Library Renovation, Bellingham Federal Building Renovation, the Lake Wilderness Lodge Renovation, the UW Data Science Studio and the UW CBE Dean’s Office and College Seminar Room. He is an affiliate assistant professor in UW’s Department of Architecture, a member of the AIA, Association for Preservation Technology, and Immediate Past President of the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation.
